Always worth a look, but too clinically presented inside now. Preferred the old shop (before modernisation) which seemed to be more locally-orientated, rather than one that resembles another uprooting from London.
Great store very friendly, very helpfull the books in the store are great and look amazing. There is a vast selection, I purchased a book called The French Revolution and Napoleon.
A good well laid out secondhand bookstore. Not large but a good selection. Worth a visit. There is also another antiquarian (expensive) bookstore upstairs.
What a wonderful find and in such a beautiful location. Brilliant bookshop with some great finds waiting to be found.
If you love books then this place is a must-visit. Recently renovated and redecorated, Hall's is a Tunbridge Wells landmark that has stood the test of time and the fluctuations in the book trade. Books from ceiling to floor and, for the seasoned bibliophile, rare and antique books to have a look at. I could spend hours in Halls. The staff are friendly and knowledgable. But the stars of the show, the books, will whisk you off to another place as your browse the shelves. If you are in Tunbridge Wells, do visit Hall's. It's worth it for the experience alone.
