So. Let me start with my mistake: I didn't check about a lift. I had a rather heavy and over packed pram because of the moving situation and a bit of an over excited and over tired toddler to get up quite a few stairs. BUT Angela the girl who helped us was an angel. She quickly double checked if there might be another room on the ground level that we could use and then helped us up to our room. Which is absolutely gorgeous. All the staff have been really friendly and helpful and lovely to my daughter. The bathroom is to die for with a huge bath, walk in shower, and other great little details in the room like a NICE coffee machine - let's face it - with a toddler in tow I need coffee and can't really take advantage of relaxing in a bath or having a long shower!! The food is GREAT. Breakfast especially. I kinda wish we could stay longer :)

A Grade II Listed mansion built in 1762, Hotel du Vin Tunbridge Wells has a fine restaurant and stylish rooms. Tunbridge Wells Rail Station is a 3-minute drive away. The bedrooms at Hotel du Vin & Bistro Tunbridge Wells feature antiques, tea/coffee and DVD players. Some of the chic rooms have a roll-top bath.Hotel du Vins bistro-style restaurant serves a classic European menu. The Burgundy Bar has an elegant lounge and an extensive wine list

Rather underwhelming in all honesty. Food was perfectly edible, but in a party of about 20 to 30 people, no one was particularly blown away by their menu choices. Tart starter was basically roasted pickled onions with a small slice of goats cheese; dry lump of beef with overpowering red wine sauce; rock hard solid meringue with very butter dark chocolate sauce.I'm sure it's not Hotel Du Vin's usual standards, but felt the need to leave this review for anyone hoping to do a large group booking

Despite the waiting staff being superb with our poorly father the 11 per pint price of Punk IPA was eye watering. Vodka and Tonic was pretty rich also. We had good food but the bottle of house red was very poor. Heavily Hotel du Vin branded but with no taste. So eat well here but stick to water.

Great restaurant, possibly the best in Tunbridge Wells. Nice venue with a superb bar and also good business space.I have visited multiple times in a number of capacities be it social, work or conferences and have always been met with great service.
