I am a disabled wheelchair user that has had a few nights a the royal tumbridgh Wells travel lodge with my partner and we have had a really nice few days stay here we are really pleased to say that we would come back again in the future the staff are really great and helpful the rooms for a disabled person are a great size and review wise we would give it ten out of ten in all respect. Access for mobility impaired looked difficult. Room was fine with everything needed. Shame that a call to reception was required to obtain a hairdryer.
Not brilliant rooms, but staff were so friendly and helpful made up for it. Try always to book discount rooms... otherwise far too expensive for whats on offer. Rooms are tired, needs new carpets and a lick of paint!
My room had an inside staircase, dirty paintwork and carpet. Wallpaper coming off. The bathroom was from the 1960s but not in a good way. The flat roof outside my window had stagnate water on it which smelt. The bed was comfortable and I slept well which is the only really good thing I can say, apart from I got free parking. However, the parking is limited and I am not sure where I would have parked had I not had the parking space.
Very old building. Victorian I think. Lovely people. Rooms were nice and tidy. Shower worked. Bed was comfortable pillows very nice. TV worked. Bar was nice. Impressive stair case. Big open halls. Old looking in and out. Lovely views from the front of the building. Close to town. Parking on site free and plenty of spaces. Would recommend to travelers in this area
