It's a joke, told first in the queue, held on for nearly I hour gave up, it was for my elderly mother in law

If I could give less than 1 star I would.1. The attitude of the receptionist staff is shocking! Every time I've spoken to them, I feel like I'm a pain they don't want to deal with. They have no customer service/soft skills at all.2. I told the receptionist I was popping out to use my e-cig when I had a 45 minute wait for my appointment to which they said this was fine. Came back in and 20 minutes has passed since my appointment time. Went up to the desk and they advised me because I left the building, I had lost my appointment. The receptionist then proceeded to tell me she had told me this (she hadn't) and became very defensive and downright unprofessional.3. You can't book appointments in advance (!?). Instead, it's some kind of daily morning rush to see who can get very limited appointments. Weekends and evenings don't register at all, unlike other surgeries in the area.4. I made a complaint over the phone (again, terrible attitude) and then had a message from a friend asking what I'd done to annoy the reception staff at the surgery. Turns out, they had all been speaking about how difficult I was. There's professionalism right there!5. Oh and finally, I had a call from their number with no voicemail. Called them back to see what this was about and they said they hadn't called me. Thought this was odd so called back again to which they told me they had called but not sure what it was regarding and they would be in contact if it was important...All this doesn't even mention the fact they lost test results, don't know their processes when questioned and appear to be entirely disorganised.I am not a regular doctor attendee and so it's a shame that this has been my experience. On the occasion I have seen a GP or nurse, they have been lovely. I think the receptionists really need to realise people speak to them in their time of most concern and having to deal with the mess I've detailed above, has not been a fun time. This is the first time I've ever been inclined to write a negative review of anything and I am appalled at the service I've received!

First visit for a long while I called the receptionist for an appointment who was very polite and helpful and the doctor I saw seemed genuinely concerned about my problem and did not drive me crazy about my smoking habit once !

I often find seeing doctors intimidating, because I have experienced doctor's brushing my 'minor' concerns away, perhaps because I'm a healthy young chap and there are other people with worse issues. I understand that doctor's have such little time per patient and it is incredibly tough for them, but here I have received a warm welcome and a empathetic ear from any doctor that I have seen. I really felt listened to, it has been such a refreshing experience.I even remember a follow up call after my first appointment because Dr Bruce thought there was something else I wanted to talk about that we hadn't had time to cover. There wasn't, but I was very touched by her thoughtfulness.

I was seen before hours, as soon as a doctor arrived as I was in excruciating pain after a fall. It was too early for me to be able to locate the problem, so the doctor kept the door open for further consultation whenever I was ready. When I rang back I was seen immediately by her colleague and promptly referred to XRay. Thanks to her intervention my hospital visit also went very smoothly.
